Producer

Luna Sicana

Italy

Founded in 2008 in a valley near Casteltermini, Agrigento, Luna Sicana is a Sicilian estate cultivating its own vineyards, olive groves and pistachio trees. The producer focuses on expressing the territory through native grape varieties and organic farming, with hand-harvested grapes, renewable-cordon pruning and an “Adopt a tree” initiative. Its vineyards benefit from varied soils shaped by the Platani River, persistent winds and mineral-rich conditions, reflected in wines marked by freshness, acidity and sapidity. Winemaking follows a natural-style approach, including extended maceration and maturation in French oak followed by time in glass. Alongside wine, the estate produces olive oil and pistachios, maintaining a broad connection to the agricultural traditions of inland Sicily.
