La Fiorita

Italy

La Fiorita is a boutique, artisanal estate in Montalcino owned by Natalie Oliveros, producing Brunello di Montalcino from Sangiovese. Its vineyards span distinct sectors, soils, exposures, altitudes and microclimates, allowing separately harvested parcels to be blended with precision. The estate has practiced organic viticulture since 2011 and received organic certification in 2019. A new two-level, gravity-fed cellar was completed for the 2019 harvest, reducing energy use while supporting a careful, terroir-focused approach. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, followed by extended ageing in large French or Slavonian oak casks and bottle. The wines emphasize the traditional Montalcino style through elegance, balance, aromatic complexity and refined, present tannins.
