Hilliard Bruce Vineyard & Winery

Hilliard Bruce Vineyard & Winery is a husband-and-wife-owned estate in Santa Barbara County, California, founded and operated by John Hilliard and Christine Bruce, who also share the winemaking. Focused on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the estate bottles its own wines while selling some grapes to other local producers. Both owners are certified master gardeners, and the vineyard follows SIP Certified Sustainable Vineyard standards alongside biodynamic and organic practices, water conservation, pest management, and habitat conservation. The winery building is LEED-certified, solar-powered, and designed for energy efficiency. Their estate-driven approach and limited releases reflect a hands-on, sustainability-focused producer.
