Domaine Amélie & Charles Sparr is a family-owned estate in Wettolsheim, Alsace, created in 2007 when Charles Sparr combined retained family parcels with those of Amélie Buecher’s biodynamic farming family. The domaine farms its vineyards under Demeter-certified biodynamic viticulture, including four Grand Cru parcels, and focuses on small-lot, single-vineyard wines. Winemaking is led by Charles and Amélie Sparr, with a philosophy centred on expressing the identity of each parcel and its soils. This is distinct from the historic Maison Pierre Sparr Successeurs, the family’s former négociant business, whose lineage dates to 1680.
