Cantine Garrone is a family-run estate in Piedmont’s Valli Ossolane DOC, led by brothers Marco and Matteo Garrone, who also handle the winemaking. Focused on Nebbiolo-based reds, the winery works steep mountain vineyards by hand using traditional pergola (topia) training. Alongside its own vines, it collaborates with a network of small local growers, reflecting deep roots in the area. The estate also helped found the Associazione dei Produttori Agricoli Ossolani (APAO) to recover abandoned mountain vineyards. No formal sustainability certifications are noted, but its manual farming and commitment to preserving local viticulture stand out.
