Saint Helena Winery

United States

Founded by Peter and Paulette Story in 2000, Saint Helena Winery is a private, appointment-only estate in Napa Valley’s Saint Helena AVA, owned by Federated Insurance since 2010. Originally grape growers, the winery now makes small-lot estate wines, centered on three Cabernet Sauvignons, alongside Chardonnay and limited specialty bottlings. Winemaker and vineyard manager Lindsey Wallingford oversees the organically and sustainably farmed vineyard, using precision farming, minimized tillage, biodiversity initiatives and Fish Friendly Farming certification. Single-clone fermentations help shape the Cabernet range, with consulting winemaker Aaron Pott contributing to the winemaking. The wines are intended to be approachable on release while offering aging potential.
