Pikes is a family-owned Clare Valley producer in South Australia, established in 1984 by brothers Andrew and Neil Pike in the Polish Hill River sub-region. Grounded in family across generations, the estate is defined by tough acidic soils over ancient Kadlunga Slate. The winery aims to make wines with character and personality that reflect variety, site, region and vintage, with an elegant, refined yet approachable style shaped by viticultural experience and a hands-off, minimal-intervention approach. Sustainability is a clear focus, with recycled winery water and solids, solar power, biodiversity plantings and reduced chemical use. Pikes is especially noted for Riesling, alongside Shiraz and Cabernet.
