Producer

Oyster Bay

New Zealand

Oyster Bay is a New Zealand producer with winery sites in Marlborough and Hawke’s Bay, established in 1999 as a listed company to own vineyards and supply premium grapes. A founding member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, it emphasizes nature-led, cool-climate viticulture and aims to make distinctly regional wines that are elegant, assertive, and fruit-driven. Its sustainability practices include fully accredited vineyards and wineries, selective water use with moisture-probe irrigation, mulching and composting, beneficial-insect plantings, low-impact tractors, energy-efficient winery design, closed-loop water recycling, and oak sourced from sustainably managed forests. The range includes Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Rosé, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, and sparkling wines.
