Producer

Morgan Winery

United States

Family-owned and operated by Dan Morgan Lee and the second-generation Lee family, Morgan Winery has more than 40 years of heritage in California’s Santa Lucia Highlands and Monterey County. Its small-production wines are terroir-driven, emphasizing balance, elegance, and low-intervention winemaking. The estate Double L Vineyard has been farmed organically for over 20 years and is certified organic—the only such vineyard identified in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Morgan also works with long-term local growers supplying sustainably farmed fruit. Cool coastal fog, strong afternoon winds, and a long growing season shape wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah, with the winery’s approach combining conscientious farming and traditional minimalist techniques.
