Le Stadère

Italy

Le Stadère is a family-run estate in Scansano, Maremma, rooted in the Parrini family’s Pistoia and Chianti traditions. Led by Alberto and Olympia, it follows organic agriculture principles and a conscious sustainability approach based on a closed cycle linking plants, animals, and soil. The winery’s philosophy balances human skill with natural variables, symbolized by the family’s inherited stadèra, or balance scale. Guided by agronomist and enologist Gabriele Gadenz, the estate seeks to express Poggio Spinelli’s distinctive conditions through elegant, terroir-focused wines. Sangiovese is central, planted from eight selected Tuscan clones, alongside the local Pugnitello and Alicante and the international Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wines aim to combine Maremma character with rarer local nuances and an international dimension.
