Karim Mussi is a fourth-generation Lebanese-Argentine winemaker who founded Altocedro in 1999 and now leads the family-run Karim Mussi Winemaker holding, encompassing Altocedro, Abras, Alandes and Qaramy across Mendoza, Salta, Patagonia and the Uco Valley. The boutique operation focuses on limited-quantity, terroir-driven wines from old-vine, high-altitude vineyards. Grapes are hand-harvested and hand-sorted, with vegan winemaking and sustainable viticulture practices, although no formal certifications are cited. Mussi remains the principal owner and winemaker overseeing the portfolio.
