Producer

Kapcsandy Family Winery

United States

Kapcsàndy Family Winery is a family-owned, estate-focused producer in Yountville, Napa Valley. Founded by Lou and Bobbie Kapcsándy and now run by their son Louis Jr. and daughter-in-law, the estate makes all of its wines from State Lane Vineyard fruit, planted mainly to Bordeaux red varieties, with a small Furmint block. The style is Bordeaux-inspired, with notes emphasizing meticulous attention to detail, balance, purity, and aging potential. The inaugural vintage involved Helen Turley and John Wetlaufer, and winemaking has also drawn on Lou Kapcsándy, Rob Lawson, and Dennis Malbec. No sustainability certifications or specific organic practices are mentioned.
