Gattavecchi

Italy

Gattavecchi is a family-owned and operated winery in Montepulciano, Tuscany, with more than a century of history and Vino Nobile production dating to 1966. Now managed by the fourth generation—Luca, Gionata, and Daniela Gattavecchi—the family remains closely involved in production, marketing, hospitality, and tastings. Vineyards lie in Argiano, Le Caggiole, and Ascianello; vinification takes place at Podere Banditella, while the wines mature in the historic cellar beneath Santa Maria dei Servi. The family acquired this cellar in 1958 and Poggio alla Sala in 1996.
