Domaine Daniel Crochet is a fourth-generation, family-owned estate in Sancerre and Bué, operated by Daniel Crochet, who studied viticulture and oenology, with his wife Véronique involved in the family operation. The vineyards are planted to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir on very stony calcareous clay and limestone soils, including terres blanches and caillottes. Organic conversion began in 2020, with organic certification and practices including manual harvesting, low yields, natural grass between the vines, extensive cover-cropping, and chemical-free pest and disease control. The domaine produces Sancerre whites, rosés, and reds described as ethereal and mineral, with a distinctly stony, almost Chablisienne character.
