Domaine Barolet-Pernot is a family-owned Burgundy estate with roots in the Barolet-Pernot family since 1570. Now managed by the fourth generation, Romain Barolet has led the winemaking since 2017, continuing the work of André Barolet and Huguette Pernot. The domaine farms vineyards in Saint-Romain, Beaune, Auxey-Duresses and Puligny-Montrachet, on limestone, brown calcareous clay and stony white soils. Its vineyards are managed according to near-organic, sustainable principles, though the estate holds no formal certification. The wines are produced in modest quantities, including Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères, reflecting a low-volume, hands-on approach.
