Castello di Oliveto is a historic estate in the Florentine hills of Tuscany, centered on a fortified castle built in 1424 by the noble Pucci family. Its vineyards occupy the estate’s most exposed sites, while much of the surrounding land remains woodland, supporting an approach described as sustainable. Grapes are harvested by hand, and production—from vinification through bottling—takes place on the farm. The estate focuses on traditional Tuscan varieties including Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo, Trebbiano, and Malvasia, alongside hand-harvested olives and extra virgin olive oil. Wines are aged in the castle’s historic cellars, combining a strong sense of place with the estate’s agricultural and hospitality activities.
