Bodegas y Viñedos Merayo is a family-owned and family-run estate in El Bierzo, León, founded by Pedro Merayo in 2010 after two decades spent recovering and maintaining vineyards. Based at Finca Miralmonte, the winery is committed to quality indigenous varieties and the character of the region. Its vineyards avoid herbicides, using plowing and land-clearing to support vine health and biodiversity. The estate includes the century-old La Galbana vineyard, planted with bush vines on stony clay soils at 600 metres. Winemaking is led by Juan Merayo, with temperature-controlled fermentation and oak aging. The winery combines family tradition with modern facilities and welcomes visitors.
