Weingut Allram is a four-generation family winery in Straß, Kamptal, where the Pannonian and Waldviertel climates meet, bringing aromatic finesse and lively acidity. The family farms vineyards on diverse loess, clay, crystalline rock and volcanic soils, including the Erste Lage sites Heiligenstein, Gaisberg and Renner. Working with hand-harvesting, biodiversity, minimal tractor use and compost made from winery and vineyard residues, they are gradually converting their vineyards to biodynamic farming and avoid industrial pesticides. Under Lorenz Haas-Allram, the wines are shaped around origin, from regional and village wines to single-vineyard Rieden and Erste Lagen. Their style emphasizes terroir, vintage character, spice, fullness and elegance, particularly in varieties such as Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
