Podere Forte is a family-owned Tuscan estate founded in 1997 by Pasquale Forte, with winegrowing set within a broader agricultural system of vineyards, olive groves, forests, and livestock. The vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, with organic practices since 2005 and Demeter certification since 2011, alongside ISO 14001 environmental certification. The estate emphasizes biodiversity, self-sufficiency, and low-impact farming through manual harvest, sheep grazing, in-house compost, alternative energy, electric machinery, and drone-applied biodynamic treatments, with a carbon-neutral target for 2035. Wines are made under the direction of Cristian Cattaneo using gravity-flow techniques, from schist- and clay-rich soils planted to varieties including Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Pinot Noir.
