Founded in 1991 in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, Catalonia, Pere Ventura is a family-owned producer rooted in four generations of Penedès sparkling-wine tradition. The family’s great-grandfather helped craft Spain’s first traditional-method sparkling wine, and the estate today specializes in elegant Cava from vineyards in the Valls d’Anoia-Foix subzone. Pere Ventura holds EU organic and carbon-footprint certifications, with sustainability measures including renewable electricity, electric and hybrid vehicles, biomass boilers, and LED lighting. The group includes the historic Can Bas estate and works with 14 grape varieties. Winemaking is led by Sebastia Galimany and Bet Palahi, combining family heritage with a stated focus on quality, innovation, and attention to detail.
