Dog Point Vineyard is a family-run Marlborough producer founded in 2004 by James and Wendy Healy with Ivan and Margaret Sutherland, and now led by the Sutherland siblings Anna, Kirsty and Matt. All fruit is hand-picked from low-cropped vines grown under organic principles, and the estate is certified organic. In the cellar, Dog Point ferments with indigenous yeast, with fining used only for part of its regular Sauvignon Blanc. The wines are made to express the experience and passion of the people behind them, offering both early drinkability and the ability to cellar gracefully.
