Château Calvimont

France

Château Calvimont is a family-run Bordeaux estate in Graves, owned and operated by Xavier and Caroline Perromat through SAS Xavier et Caroline Perromat Domaines. Taken over from Xavier’s parents in 2012, it is the second wine of Château de Cérons and is made from estate vineyards on gravel and sand soils with limestone-marl subsoil. The Perromats farm with sustainable, low-input methods, including hand-picking and careful sorting, though no formal organic or biodynamic certification is noted. In the cellar, they use gravity-fed winemaking and small thermo-regulated vats for a precise, careful approach. The estate produces both red and white Bordeaux wines.
