Producer

Carac'Terre

France

Carac'Terre is a small, family-owned Champagne estate under the direct control of Yann Vadin, the ninth generation of his family to manage the domaine and its winemaking. Its vineyards extend across five neighboring villages and are farmed with a long-standing focus on soil health: herbicides have been avoided for four decades, with natural grass cover maintained and the vines plowed by tractor. The estate has transitioned to organic viticulture, although no formal certification is noted. Modest production and hands-on family management give Carac'Terre an artisanal character.
