Producer

Bodegas Vinecol

Argentina

Founded in 1998, Bodegas Vinecol is a family-run organic producer in La Paz, eastern Mendoza, adjacent to the Ñacuñán Biosphere Reserve. Its vineyards sit at 800 metres in a semi-desert climate on sandy loam soils, with manual harvesting, trellising, and furrow and drip irrigation. Certified organic since its beginnings, Vinecol also holds vegan and sustainable certifications and emphasizes biodiversity, soil health, traceability, and environmental responsibility. Winemaking is low-intervention, using natural yeasts, stainless-steel fermentation, and low SO₂ levels. Its varied labels range from fresh, unoaked young wines to limited-production, non-traditional varieties and more structured oak-aged styles, all intended to express the local terroir while allowing room for continuous innovation.
