Tenuta di Gracciano della Seta

Italy

Gracciano della Seta is a historic, family-run estate in Montepulciano, Tuscany, owned by siblings Marco, Vannozza and Galdina della Seta Ferrari Corbelli, with their father Giorgio still managing the property. Its vineyards lie across the historic Gracciano crus of Toraia, Maramai, Casale and Rovisci, on silty-clay and sandy soils suited to structured, aromatic wines. The estate has followed organic farming practices since 2015, using cover crops, organic fertilization and reduced natural treatments, while harvesting entirely by hand. Its winemaking respects tradition and the expression of place, including maturation in large wooden casks. Production is overseen by long-standing winemakers Nicolò d’Afflitto and Beppe Rigoli, and includes Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Riserva and other Tuscan wines, marketed as vegan and produced with a close-to-nature philosophy.
