Madcap Magnus

Staffelter Hof is a family-owned winery, distillery and guest house in Kröv on the Mosel, with a documented history dating to 862 AD. Now operated by seventh-generation family member and winemaker Jan Matthias Klein, it works on the river’s slate slopes and is certified organic under EU standards. Since 2014, the estate has focused on organic and natural wine production, using low-intervention methods and emphasizing sustainability, respect for terroir and the preservation of historic winemaking traditions.
