Carlin de Paolo

Italy

CARLINdePAOLO is a fourth-generation, family-owned estate in Piedmont's Terre Alfieri, within the UNESCO-recognized Langhe-Roero-Monferrato landscape. Run by the Ponte family, it operates about 52 hectares of vineyards, half under direct control, with a focus on sustainable practices. The winery holds the EQUALITAS sustainability certification, employs organic methods like natural compost and pheromone-based pest control, and publishes a detailed sustainability report. Production is modest, with around 15,000 bottles of Grignolino annually, and includes a range of red, white, sparkling, and dessert wines under its own label and the Bricco della Cappelletta brand. The family also runs a restaurant, La Merenderia, offering local food pairings, and actively engages in community and cultural projects.
