Producer

Bodegas Hispano+Suizas

Spain

Bodegas Hispano+Suizas is an innovative producer based in El Pontón, Requena, Valencia, founded by three friends and partners: Marc Grin, Pablo Ossorio, and Rafael Navarro. Working with estate fruit, they emphasize manual grape selection and hand harvesting, with all varieties fermented in 400-liter barrels under temperature control to maximize aromatic and flavor expression. Their approach also includes precision viticulture, and for sparkling wines they use the traditional method with bottle fermentation and manual disgorgement. The winery works with both international grapes and local Bobal, including old vines over 80 years of age, and is also known for its enotourism project centered on the restored 1905 house, Finca Casa La Borracha.
