Villard Fine Wines

Chile

Founded in 1989 by Thierry Villard in Chile’s Casablanca Valley, Villard Fine Wines remains a privately held Franco-Chilean family winery led by the next generation, including Jean-Charles Villard. Considered Chile’s first boutique winery, it operates independently in a region known for cool-climate wines shaped by Pacific influence. The estate emphasizes sustainable, minimal-intervention farming without cited formal certifications. Its wines aim to express both place and human craft, combining structure and elegance across Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, premium Grand Vin and Iconos bottlings, as well as natural JCV wines. The second generation has introduced new winemaking techniques, while the family’s cooperage enables careful oak selection. Anamaria Pacheco has served as winemaker since 1997, with Thierry Villard involved in final blending.
