Torre Bisenzio is a private organic estate in Umbria, on the border with Tuscany and near Monte Rufeno National Park. Purchased in 2003 and passionately restored, it combines winemaking with organic olive oil, produce and Chianina cattle, while maintaining a strong connection to environmental sustainability and the local community. Its wines come from hand-picked grapes grown on the estate and are made according to a philosophy of tradition, authenticity, quality and innovation. The winery, rebuilt within a traditional farmhouse, uses amphora, steel tanks and French oak, alongside modern technology. Vineyards lie on marine-derived clay, gravel and alluvial soils, in a sunny climate with notable diurnal variation. Solar power and well water further support the estate’s sustainable approach.
