Proyecto Garnachas de España

Spain

Proyecto Garnachas de España is a boutique, family-owned initiative in Aragón led by oenologist Raúl Acha, also technical director at Vintae. The project focuses on reviving and preserving very old Garnacha vineyards across several Spanish D.O.s, with a six-wine range of single-varietal Garnachas. Farming emphasizes organic practices, historic-vine conservation, and manual harvesting, although no formal sustainability certifications are noted. Small-scale and limited in production, the project is a personal venture of the Acha family, with Acha as the sole winemaker mentioned and technical support from Vintae.
