Producer

Jean-Paul Dubost

France

Jean-Paul Dubost runs Domaine Dubost, a fourth-generation family estate in Beaujolais that he has owned and operated since the mid-1990s. Its vineyards span several crus, including Lantignié, Juliénas, Brouilly, Morgon, Régnié, Fleurie, and Moulin-à-Vent, on granitic and sandy soils. Parcels are farmed organically or are in conversion, with biodynamic practices used on select plots since 2005. Production and bottling are handled by partner Bläck & Co. The wines follow a non-interventionist approach, with spontaneous natural-yeast fermentations, minimal sulfur, and no fining, filtration, or acid adjustment. They are aged for about ten months in 500-litre barrels before bottling.
