Gianni Doglia

Italy

Gianni Doglia is a third-generation, family-owned winery in Castagnole delle Lanze, in the UNESCO-listed hills between Langhe and Monferrato. Gianni, the winemaker, works alongside his sister Paola and remains directly involved in the vineyards and cellar. The estate farms its vineyards sustainably, with SQNPI certification and practices including no chemical fertilizers, manual weed control, low yields, no irrigation, limited tractor use, and measures to protect biodiversity. Its wines express the calcareous-clay soils and distinctive climate of the Asti area, with particular importance given to Moscato d’Asti. The family’s hands-on approach and commitment to careful work throughout the production chain define this small, independent Piedmontese estate.
