Producer

Gianfranco Fino

Italy

Gianfranco Fino is a family-run winegrower in Manduria, Puglia, founded in 2004 by Gianfranco Fino and run with his wife Simona. Built around old, bush-trained vineyards, the estate focuses on Primitivo and Negroamaro, with a strong commitment to expressing local identity and preserving traditional Pugliese alberello vines. Gianfranco describes himself as an “artisan of the vineyards,” and vineyard work is meticulous and entirely manual, with hand harvesting at dawn and careful fruit selection. The cellar combines this traditional approach with modern production, including barrique aging. The range includes red wines and a classic-method rosé sparkling wine, with occasional passito releases in exceptional years.
