Recchia is a family-owned Valpolicella producer based in Negrar di Valpolicella, making wine since 1906 and now run by brothers Riccardo and Roberto Recchia. Its vineyards span the Valpolicella Classica area and Lake Garda, including the historic Masua di Jago and Poderi del Roccolo sites. Traditional varieties such as Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara are cultivated alongside grapes for Bardolino, Chiaretto and white wines. Harvesting is carried out by hand, while the entire production cycle is controlled in-house, combining inherited know-how with modern technology. Wines are shaped by careful study of each vineyard, with flinty or volcanic soils contributing mineral and spicy notes. The range emphasizes authentic, balanced and highly drinkable wines, including fresher, moderately alcoholic styles, alongside important reds aged in oak in tuff cellars. The family also welcomes visitors for tours and tastings.
