Domaine RUET

France

Domaine Ruet is a fourth-generation family estate in Beaujolais, founded in 1926 and run since 2010 by siblings Katy and David Ruet. Its vineyards lie on south-facing, granite-rich slopes near Brouilly, with Gamay for the reds and Chardonnay for the whites. The domaine practices careful, parcel-specific viticulture, including hand harvesting and sorting, continuous grass cover, biodiversity measures, and no herbicides or pesticides; it is HVE-certified and undergoing organic conversion. David oversees the vineyards and winemaking, while Katy manages the estate and export sales. Wines are made in-house using traditional Beaujolais methods, including whole-cluster, semi-carbonic vinification, with some bottlings made without added sulfites to express their natural style and site typicity.
