Producer

Domaine Marie-Pierre Chevassu

France

Domaine Marie-Pierre Chevassu is a small, family-run estate in the Jura, taken over by Marie-Pierre Chevassu-Fassenet in 2008. Certified organic, the domaine farms sustainably, with extensive manual hoeing, limited systemic herbicide use on steep, erosion-prone parcels, and participation in a local integrated pest-management group pursuing Terra Vitis certification. Marie-Pierre handles the work from vine to bottle, supported by her husband Cédric at tastings, her sister on the farm, and her parents. The estate’s very limited production reflects a hands-on, artisanal approach.
