Cantine Dei

Italy

Cantine Dei is a family-run estate in Montepulciano, Tuscany, founded by Alibrando Dei, who planted the first vines at Bossona in 1964; the winery released its first family-labeled Vino Nobile di Montepulciano in 1985 and is now led by his granddaughter Maria Caterina Dei. The estate works across five vineyard sites, including Bossona and La Piaggia, with a strong focus on Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and a clear link between terroir and wine through detailed vineyard zoning. Organic since 2021 and also Equalitas certified, Cantine Dei emphasizes sustainable farming, respect for the environment, and artisanal vinification balanced with tradition and innovation. The stated style is one of elegance, harmony, and authenticity.
