Mezzanotte

Italy

Cantina Mezzanotte is a family-owned winery founded in 1925 in the Senigallia area of Italy's Marche region. Now in its third generation, it is managed by Lorenzo Mezzanotte. The estate is a small-to-medium operation, producing between 30,000 and 40,000 bottles annually from approximately 6 hectares of organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards. It focuses on native varieties like Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and the unique Lacrima di Morro d'Alba. The philosophy is a blend of tradition and innovation, emphasizing healthy agriculture, manual work, and environmental respect, supported by near-total energy self-sufficiency from a photovoltaic system.
