Masot is a family-run winery in Sarmede, in Veneto’s Conegliano area beneath the Cansiglio, founded by Andrea and Daniele Da Ros. Drawing on family tradition and Andrea Da Ros’s artisanal winemaking approach, the estate focuses on native grape varieties and wines that reflect the local landscape. In the vineyard, Masot emphasizes vine longevity and soil health through careful pruning, lunar-cycle timing, manual shoot thinning, cover crops, and hand harvesting in the coolest hours. In the cellar, the philosophy is one of minimal intervention: gentle pressing, use of first-run juice, and fermentation with both selected and indigenous yeasts. The range also reflects traditional sparkling methods, including Martinotti and ancestral-style Col Fondo wines.
