Weingut Aldinger is a family-run estate in Stuttgart’s Württemberg region, with winemaking roots reaching back to 1492 and the current generation represented by brothers Hansjörg and Matthias Aldinger. A VDP member, the estate works across distinctive sites including the monopole Untertürkheimer Gips, whose gypsum-keuper soils shape its mineral, age-worthy wines. The portfolio focuses on Riesling, Lemberger, Spätburgunder, Trollinger and Sauvignon Blanc, alongside traditional-method sparkling wine. Winemaking emphasizes gentle handling, close attention to soil and vines, and restrained intervention; red wines undergo traditional fermentation and French-oak aging, while top wines are fermented in wood. Notable innovations include the concrete-egg-aged Sauvignon Blanc “Ovum” and a long lees-aged, dosage-free Brut Nature Sekt. Aldinger has received sustained recognition from German and international wine guides, including a 2024 lifetime achievement award.
