Terrazze dell'Etna

Italy

Founded in 2008 by the Bevilacqua family, Terrazze dell’Etna lies on the northwestern slopes of Mount Etna, within the UNESCO-listed Etna Natural Park near Randazzo. The estate has restored abandoned vineyards, historic stone terraces and an ancient palmento, combining respect for local heritage with modern, low-impact winery technology. Its vineyards are cultivated entirely by hand across volcanic soils and varied elevations, with practices following the natural cycle. The wines focus on expressing Etna’s distinctive terroir, including the native Nerello Mascalese, while the estate is particularly committed to Metodo Classico sparkling wines, using micro-vinifications and parcel-based work. Traditional methods and contemporary techniques are combined to produce wines of character, elegance and mineral expression.
