Robert Ampeau et Fils

France

Robert Ampeau et Fils is a family-run Burgundy estate founded by Robert Ampeau in the early 20th century and now managed by his son, Michel. The domaine farms vineyards across premier cru parcels in the Côte de Beaune, including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay-Santenots, Savigny-lès-Beaune and Beaune Clos du Roi. Its sustainable approach includes cover-cropping, moderate yields, manual pruning, shoot thinning and careful canopy management, without formal certification noted. Michel continues the family’s meticulous, traditional and low-intervention style, with wines aged for decades in the estate’s cold cellars before release.
