Prunelle de Navacelle

France

Prunelle de Navacelle is a female vigneronne based at the historic, family-owned Château du Basty in Lantignié, Beaujolais, held by the Perroud family since 1482. She works three small Gamay parcels planted with 80-year-old vines, including a site on pink granite and volcanic blueschist at 390 metres. The certified-organic vineyards are also farmed using biodynamic and regenerative agroecology practices. Her very small-lot wines follow a natural, minimal-intervention approach, with no fining or filtration and only minimal sulfur.
