PerSe is a family-run Mendoza project founded in 2012 by David Bonomi, Edgardo del Popolo and his son Santiago. It produces ultra-limited, single-parcel wines from high-altitude Gualtallary vineyards in the Uco Valley, with parcels rooted in white chalk and decomposed granite. The vineyards are organically farmed without certification, using low yields and head-trained vines. Native yeasts, minimal intervention and extended aging in neutral French oak shape the wines, particularly their highly praised, cool-climate expressions of Malbec. The project is family-owned by Edgardo del Popolo and David Bonomi.
