Domaine Hughes-Beguet is an owner-run Jura estate based around vineyards in Pupillin, Arbois and Mesnay, including a prized plot on the Cote de Feule. Founder and sole winemaker Patrice Beguet, a former IT consultant, runs the domaine with the help of an intern. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically with Demeter certification and also hold organic AB certification, with low copper use and herbal preparations in the vines. In the cellar, Beguet follows a zero/zero natural approach: no added sulfites, no fining and no filtration. He also works with organically grown grapes sourced from growers in the Loire, Rhone and Alsace.
