France

Herri Mina is a small estate in the Basque Country’s Irouleguy region, located in Ispoure on steep Pyrenean slopes of sandstone and limestone. Purchased by Jean-Claude Berrouet in 1992, the approximately 4.5-hectare estate is planted mainly to Gros Manseng, Petit Courbu, and Petit Manseng, with a small plot of Cabernet Franc. Its white Irouleguy is made from the three white varieties, with manual harvesting and sorting followed by approximately nine months of lees aging. The wine is produced by the Berrouet family and listed under BRANA.
