Drautz & Able

Germany

Drautz & Able is a family-owned, family-run winery in Württemberg with a winemaking tradition dating back over 500 years. Its vineyards around Heilbronn, Coventry and Lauffen are cultivated naturally, with 100% hand-selective harvesting, careful pressing and gentle ageing; no formal sustainability certification is noted. A VDP member, the estate produces wines from GUTSWEIN through GROSSE LAGE, with particular emphasis on Riesling and Lemberger, alongside Trollinger and international varieties. Tradition is balanced with experimentation, including Sekt, blanc de noirs, TRY AGED wines and an expressive range of orange wines made through spontaneous fermentation, extended skin contact and ageing in amphorae or used oak. These wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
