Domaine des Chezeaux

France

Domaine des Chezeaux is a Burgundy estate in the Côte de Nuits, owned since 2021 by Charles Van Canneyt and his wife Anne-Sophie. Its holdings include notable Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels such as Chambertin, Clos Saint-Denis, Griotte-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers, on limestone-clay soils with many vines over 40 years old. Historically run through métayage agreements with growers including Ponsot, René Le Clerc and Berthaut, the estate is now being consolidated under more direct control, with a new winery in progress. Winemaking is led by Charles Van Canneyt, with full destemming and gentle extraction. No organic, biodynamic or other sustainability certifications are mentioned.
