Clément et Florian Berthier

France

Clément & Florian Berthier is a family-owned Loire Valley domaine in Sainte-Gemme-en-Sancerrois, run by brothers Clément and Florian Berthier, the latest generation of a long winegrowing family. They farm parcels in Sancerre and Coteaux du Giennois, with additional fruit used for Menetou-Salon and Pouilly-Fumé wines. The estate is certified organic and also follows biodynamic, low-tillage practices, using cover crops and other methods to protect soil health and biodiversity. Florian leads the vineyard work while Clément oversees vinification and sales. Their approach centers on minimal-intervention winemaking and expressing the distinct terroirs of their Loire appellations.
